As a new company in our early stages, the initial pouches do not yet display the Kosher symbol, but it will appear on the label beginning with our next batch.
A Note from Our Founder
As the founder of Pink Moon Salt, I want to share a little of the story behind this brand.
I grew up experiencing symptoms of hyponatremia, a condition in which the level of sodium in the blood is lower than normal.
Symptoms can include fatigue, dizziness, headaches, nausea, muscle cramps, and brain fog.
I lived with these for years without understanding the cause until 2021, when my ex-husband, who is a physician, finally diagnosed me.
That discovery set me on a journey to learn everything I could about salt — how different salts vary in mineral content, and how many mass-market salts are processed, bleached, or blended with anti-caking agents.
I researched, sent samples for laboratory testing, and became deeply committed to understanding the role salt plays in our bodies.
Salt is a natural electrolyte because it provides sodium and chloride ions that help maintain the balance of fluids in our cells and support vital processes.
Today, that journey has become my mission to share a premium, high-mineral salt that reflects my dedication to purity, taste, and education.
